Color palette
General colors
Grey
Used for general backdrops and text.
Neutral
Just a bit warmer. Can be used in place of greys, when we want to offset or add a bit of contrast. Particularly handy for foreground elements; colds trend towards shadows, warms feel nice and intimate.
Brand
Only for branding elements, or when we need to speak with the Jobilla voice.
The effect is very subtle, but brand elements stand out against everything else.
Purple
Our standard primary draw.
Fuchsia
An alternative for purples, when we want a bit of contrast.
Red
Yellow
Green
Aqua
Blue
Spectrum
If you need a progressive, linear movement of colors, use the spectrum colors.
Swatch
Meaningful levels
For things like status lights. Use these when the colors mean “good”, “caution” or “bad”.
Distinct levels
When you just need a bunch of colors that don't make up a continuous scale. Use these for charts and diagrams, where one value shouldn't look special in particular.
Steel is a particularly special case, and, by convention, is used for a reference or benchmark value.
